OVER CHEESE 1.000 KILOS TO FIGHT AGAINST ALZHEIMER
The Valencian company Farm Rinya attempt to break the Guinness record preparing a cheese napkin over 1.000 kilos in the Feria de San Blas in Albal. The profits will go to the fight against Alzheimer's.
Next Saturday 31 January Albal Valencian population will witness a new Guinness record. On the occasion of the celebration of the fair in honor of San Blas, the business of the town Granja Rinya draw live on the street and a giant cheese napkin,will try to overcome the 1.000 kilos in order to become this type cheese world's largest. Its production will be used 8.000 liters of milk and 80 kilos of salt, and he will morethan 10.000 portions.
This will be a giant cheese solidarity, since all profits raised from the sale of each lot will go to the Spanish Confederation of Associations of Families of People with Alzheimer (Neck), organization working every day to improve the quality of life of people with this disease. At present the Alzheimer affects about 1,2 million people in our country, mainly elderly.
Rinya farm is a family business born of tradition for generations maintained cowgirl. Currently it made from traditional Valencian cheese and sheep cheese, goat and mixing, to dairy desserts of all kinds.
